There are few things I love more in the Spring and Summer months than a good white eyelet dress. White has always been my go-to color of choice. Black is amazing and I love it more in the winter months since we have scorching summers, but I have loved the crisp, clean and fresh look of a classic white cotton anything for as long as I can remember. Last year my fave white dress was a little more fancy but still so fun. I found this gem a few months ago in one of my fave Charleston boutiques and have been wearing it non-stop ever since. I wore it to breakfast at Charleston Fashion Week, to church on Easter morning and most recently to lunch with girlfriends. This dress is so versatile and can be styled so many ways but I love how soft and flowy it is.
I usually like shorter lengths in warm weather dresses because they are cooler on the legs, but this tea length eyelet dress caught my attention. I have to say: after three wears, it’s a really nice change. With the longer hems you don’t have to worry about flashing people being un-ladylike. I’m not saying go buck wild and out, but it gives you extra coverage and extra room to be more comfortable while seated. This eyelet dress also has the sweetest mini flowers stitched on. They give the dress that extra sweet factor and make it the perfect Charleston find.
As I mentioned, styling possibilities are endless. For this look I paired my eyelet dress with my fave wedges (hello comfortable), my bamboo bag and natural boater hat. It was a simple yet chic look for strolling down Rainbow Row. In true Twosday fashion, I’m throwing in a second look. Scroll down to the bottom of the post to see how I styled it for cooler temps and my dear friend’s Police Academy graduation.
