Rise and shine y’all. Can you believe it’s already Thursday? I know we all live for the weekends but I really try not to wish my days away and truly enjoy them – even if they go by the name of Mondayyy. This week went by extra fast for me since I took a #personalday Tuesday. You may have seen some of what I was up to on my insta stories but today I’m sharing my extra casual, weekend style, off duty look.
I can honestly tell you guys that I dress for mood & occasion. I have a hard time describing my style in one or even a few words but can tell you that I love experimenting with different things. If I like it, I wear it and if a new trend really strikes me as something I could totally see myself rocking, then I’ll try it and put my own spin on it.
Example: I really love the menswear trend going on right now but am still trying to figure out how most of the pieces work for my body type. I do however have a love affair for loafers and mules and work them in with ease.
For some reason, when it gets to Fall fashion, I dive head first in to this boho, oversized vibe. I’m having a major moment with Free People right now. I’m completely obsessed with their chunky sweaters, flowing tops and amazingly saturated colors like this pink sweater. ( Y’all know how I love pink!! ) They are just so comfy and easy to throw on yet they incorporate great design details that elevate the appearance to more than your basic tee.
This bandanna top is no different. The sleeves have a little puff detail but not quite as dramatic as some of the other tops out there right now. It also has a front and back keyhole / choker detail and a cool print. Since I’m completely obsessed with my jorts for transitional temps (seriously- it’s becoming a problem) and am looking for any excuse to wear my booties, I paired them all together for the easiest off-duty look. Pop a trendy bag (loving all the ring and metal details lately), bootie with a heel and a hat and you have a few more elevating details that upgrade your total look.
What is your off-duty weekend style?
Let me know what you guys are loving in the comments!

Super cute!! I couldn’t describe my style in one word either. I know what I like and try to make sure everything I wear fits well.

I love that shirt! I love the choker and that the sleeves aren’t too poufy. My summer weekend style is pretty much just shorts, t-shirt and sandals.
