I love wearing tulle. It’s so fun to play around with and tulle anything is the ultimate girly style. You may think tulle is only for the holidays or special occasions but that’s not true. I’m styling tulle for fall and sharing some extra tulle outfits you can pull off all season long.
Free People knit sweater | Halogen tiered tulle skirt (old – similar here) | Golden Goose sneakers (also love the pink ones & the glitter ones) | Cult Gaia belt | Dooney & Bourke leather satchel (old similar here & here)| Twine & Twig bracelets | Vivian Drew earrings (also love these)| Diff Eyewear sunglasses | Fashion Fair hot pink lipstick (similar here)
Styling tulle for fall doesn’t have to be complicated. My priorities for the season, especially in these growing belly days, are comfort + warmth that looks pulled together. Everything else that comes after that is an added bonus. I have always had a soft spot for chunky knit sweaters but really really love them when I’m pregnant.
There’s just something bout being cozied up in a soft knit and feeling your babe moving around that brings the ultimate comfort. For staying around the house I opt for the best maternity leggings or stretchy pants but if I need to venture out in something a little nicer I always reach for a skirt and since I’ve built up quite the collection over the years, it’s likely to be a tulle skirt. For me, they are way more comfortable on the bump than pants or jeans that I’m constantly adjusting or tugging at. Of all my tulle skirts, this blush tiered tulle skirt is an old favorite. The color is perfect for a fun spring look or transitioning to fall.
