Is there anything better than a good oversized, chunky sweater? When it’s chilly and windy out, I love having snuggly layers keeping me warm. I recently purchased this burnt orange chunky sweater from Free People and am totally obsessed. I am so surprised at how much I love this spice or burnt orange color but it is totally working for me. At least I think it is. Don’t burst my bubble if it’s not because this is a great substitute for true brown, which I hate. Building an outfit with a chunky sweater is also super easy. My go-to formula is a pair of dark skinny jeans but these moto pants give it an edgy feel. I’m not really into full on biker babe so I brought it back with my fave leopard accessories and monogram tote that holds my life.
The more I grow and mature in my personal style, the more I fall back on my go-to formulas. I’m not going to lie to y’all, some days I just don’t have that “put together a killer outfit vision” and just need to wear something that feels good and gives me some confidence. My non-photo shoot days and days behind the computer working on posts look a lot like this and I’m totally ok with that. To see another way to style a chunky sweater, check out this post.
