Happy Monday everyone! Did you have a great weekend?! I sure did which is making today extra hard! So I sure hope your week is starting off full of coffee and much needed energy! I have found that on days when you don’t necessarily feel the best, it is even more important to look your best. It naturally helps boost your mood. don’t get me wrong, I’m not above a good pair of leggings and loose sweater, but it usually makes me feel more tired (because it’s so cozy!) and less than professional. This pink + stripes pant ensemble is the perfect compromise. The wide leg fit of the pant is sleek yet not constricting so I can still be a little comfortable on days when it takes me a little longer to perk up. The pop of hot pink is cheery but also keeps the look polished because of the silk fabrication. It has a cool loose fit and hangs nicely. I have a love hate relationship with silk because it is super flattering and the garments are always quality but it is devil hard to care for and super high maintenance. If you aren’t up for the dry cleaning bill or going through your day on egg shells trying not to get anything on the precious fabric, then you may want to opt for a woven polyester blend that hangs similarly. Throw on some classic heels and accessories and you’re ready for that not so awesome Monday!
