Is it just me or has anyone else noticed it getting darker just a tick earlier lately!? I am in such a tug of war with the seasons right now! With the official start of football (pre-season at least), I find myself craving fall, yet the other half of me is holding on to summer with all my might! It’s so hard to imagine darkness at 6:00 pm and 30 degree temps in the Carolinas. While I cannot possibly be excited about the cold or the darkness, I do love fall fashion. It is cozy and fun to play with different layers and trends. I really love today’s transitional look! It is so simple yet classic. A good pair of jeans, neutral button front top and a chic silk neck scarf gives you an outfit that pretty much rocks and looks pretty effortless. The best part: you probably already have all these key pieces in your wardrobe. I stuck with the neutral colors, but you can easily make it your own by using a printed top or scarf or even some brighter tones. While I am a total accessories girl, sometimes I feel like less really is more (or I’m feeling lazy- today it’s the first). I kept it totally earthy and neutral with the grey croc cross body and python heels. At first glance I kind of felt like I was giving off that Crocodile Dundee / Steve Irwin look, but I’m choosing to think in terms of Safari Chic! 🙂 Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Love the shirt. Utility style is cute and the neck scarf is the perfect feminine addition 🙂
exactly what I want to say – but far more eloquently! You look absolutely BEAUTIFUL in both outfits – i love the jabot blouse (I had never even heard the word jabot until I met Helga!) and the gorgeous pinafore – and with the lovely cosy poncho and those fab boots too – you are super stn3ly&#i9;! And the other beautiful dress does indeed frame your magnificent decolletage exquisitely! You are a superstar. LOVE! Sarah x xx
