Hey There, Sailor!

I’m a firm believer that nothing says Spring like a classic and chic nautical stripe inspired outfit anchored by a great pair of white jeans. It is also my go-to formula for when I’m feeling extra stumped on what to wear on warmer days. My definition of a neutral is anything that “plays well” with everything else. As far as I’m concerned, navy and leopard are both neutrals. If I’m being honest, blush is too.

What I love about these three, is that you can wear them all together, head to toe or with a truly neutral black, white, beige or grey outfit. Y’all know I am a fan of just piling on color, so it should come as no surprise that I piled on “neutrals” too. Most of my look is from last year or last season but is easy to update with a few key pieces from this year. Luckily, everything is back in stock, including my wedges. I was so bummed when I missed out on these last year. I spent so much time trying to figure out which color I wanted, they sold out! Talk about #fomo. Well lucky for all of us who missed out, the popular wedge is back in stock and comes in multiple colors vs the browns and tans from last year. No matter which color you choose, these are a seasonal staple and a great way to update looks you still love from last year.

My nautical stripe top is also back and comes in a natural color way. My favorite thing about this top is the light weight fit. I have worn it so many times my husband started taking notice so I had to retire it for a bit. The stripe pattern is also easy to wear. I am particular about my horizontal stripes, but these are the perfect size to be noticeable yet flattering. The best part about my go-to formula are my white jeans. I love white jeans! Even though I should be banned from wearing them, I have 3 good pairs that I rotate around to cover myself in case I get bbq sauce or anything on them. Jeans are a huge part of our wardrobes now with things growing more casual. I want to clarify that my three pairs are not all the same. If you are a buy 5 of the same pair kinda gal, then by all means, carry on. I diversified mine to dabble in different trends. This pari has the step hem with a little fray and clean legs. My second pair has a normal hem and rips and destruction up the legs (just not too much so I can still wear them to nicer places). My third is a clean and crisp pair. I wear these to work on casual Fridays and to other semi casual events with a silk top.

Hope you guys have a happy hump day and are already shopping Spring too! What are your must haves and go-to outfit formulas?!

xoxo

Stripes are always so fun to wear! And I adore how you coordinated it with the slight tuck, the shoes, the necklace…everything! 🙂
