Happy Memorial Day Week Everyone! As the glorious impending long weekend marks the unofficial start of Summer, gets me out of work on a Monday (praise hands here) and fills my inbox with news of glorious sales, it also reminds me of the price to enjoy all of those things. I have to admit, sometimes I get caught up in days on the beach and planning vacations that I lose sight of why we actually have this holiday. The incredible backdrop to today’s post is the side of a building I drive past often. I don’t know why it is there or what the building it embraces is used for, but it is an amazing reminder of just how proud I am to be American (cue Toby Keith American Pride here).
