3 Ways to Wear It: Madewell Corduroy Pants

Thanks to Madewell for sponsoring this post. All thoughts & opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Reese's Hardwear.

Last week I shared how Laura Leigh of Louella Reese and I styled the same pair of Madewell corduroy pants. We were shopping at the new South End Madewell store and both instantly loved these pants so much. If you missed it, you can read more about our shopping trip, the new store and our coordinating looks in this post.

These cords are so comfortable and flattering, I knew one look wasn’t enough so today I’m sharing three ways (the original + two more) to wear the Madewell corduroy pants.

Madewell Corduroy PantsI shared this look earlier this week, but it’s one of my favorites. I love pairing soft, somewhat chunky sweaters with great pants. It’s an easy way to be comfy yet totally pulled together. Want to go the extra mile? Add a topper or a third piece like a denim jacket. It adds a layer of warmth and style.

I kept the rest of the look casual with my fave new brown booties and a great leather satchel. There is a lot going on in this look with the texture of the pants, poms on the sweater, different colors etc. Keeping the accessories in the cognac family helps keep it grounded and makes it work.

Madewell Corduroy Pants Three WaysOh how I love lilac and emerald together! It is one of the sweetest combinations. These cords are really more of a jade color but still a stunning jewel tone that looks great with my favorite lilac blazer.

I have recently gotten into graphic tees lately and loved layering this Emerson Fry tiger tee for something fun. I am pretty picky about my tees; short sleeves really aren’t my thing, but I’ve found a few I really love and love having them as layering options for all my blazers.

I threw on these amazing new booties because the color goes with everything, but I would just as easily throw on a great pair of sneaks in a fun color (or white if you choose) for an ultra-casual off-duty look.

This last look is one of my favorites because I love polka-dot anything. I found this mesh top last year but it’s a great piece to wear when you want to look nice and/or festive at a casual event. I feel like black anything instantly classes you up a bit
