P is for Peeps, prosecco, and PJs; all must-haves for the ultimate grown-up girlfriends’ sleepover or at the very least a long morning relaxing in your PJs.  Last week I shared posts on our fancy Easter brunch and how to create the perfect tablescape. My girlfriends and I had so much fun putting on our Easter dresses and being dressed up we decided to do it again for much more casual and low-key get-together in our favorite Katie Kime pajamas. If your weekend or Easter plans are a little more breakfast in bed or netflix and chill, then you’ll def want to read on to learn more about the morning and the cutest Katie Kime pajamas I’ve ever worn.

Remember those sleepovers you had in your tween and teen years? They were the best, weren’t they? A whole night filled with teen romcom movies, caboodles full of nail polish and smackers, and talking, er giggling, all night with your best girlfriends just didn’t get any better. Well, I’m here to tell you grown-up pajama parties are just as much fun if not more. Right after our Easter brunch, Laura, Heather, Morgan and I got together for some more casual fun. We couldn’t do a whole night because men and babies, but we did manage to have an easy morning of the three Ps. Since Easter is only a few days away, we traded traditional breakfast foods for pink peeps and a freshly popped bottle of prosecco. We cozied up on the back porch and enjoyed one of the few warm and sunny mornings we’ve had lately. (There has been so. much. rain.)

We all donned the cutest pajamas courtesy of Katie Kime. I have to tell y’ all about these pajamas. Katie Kime is a new to me brand but has become a fast favorite. The brand is full of bright colors and fabulous prints that fit a variety of personalities. The four of us definitely have different personal styles but were able to get a Katie Kime pajama set we each loved. Some prints come in sets so you can get a short or pant bottom with a long or short sleeve top while some are just long tops perfect for lounging. Laura chose the bananas, Heather the party camels and Morgan the oysters. I have an obsession with all things banana/palm leaf so of course, I chose this adorable banana leaf set. It gives me all the tropical vibes even when I’m stuck inside on a rainy day. However, I am totally eyeing the camel shirt and already have it in my cart along with a few other colorful accessories and tabletop items from KK.

We all agreed how much we love our pajamas. They are beyond soft and are pretty lightweight so you can wear them through the warmer months and not be miserable. Did I mention you can get them monogrammed? Yup! Just about everything on the KK site comes with an option to add a monogram. I’m such a sucker for a monogram and definitely getting one on my next piece. Since I am still nursing, I really love that each top comes with a full button front closure. If you’re in a similar stage of life, these are great PJs to pack in your hospital bag or have around for those first few months with a newborn. If you’re not, then you’ll still want to stay in these Katie Kime pajamas all day. Long live the sleepover, lazy mornings & peeps… you know those things will still be good in six months!
