Y’all know I love any and every reason to entertain, decorate and host a party. This time, I’m doing it with my best blogging babes Laura, Morgan, and Heather (see more on these babes below). We decided several months ago that we wanted to welcome Spring in the most beautiful way possible so we got to work planning the most beautiful brunch. We talked and planned and shopped for all the perfect details to make it just right and it was perfect. I can’t tell y’ all how much I enjoyed the day. A morning of laughing, eating, drinking out of the house with good girlfriends is just what this mama needed to re-charge. Keep reading for all the details, how we made it come together and some tips to hosting your own chic Spring brunch.

Bloggers Who Brunch - Spring Brunch Tablescape

Bloggers Who Brunch

I know everyone says it, but I have been so incredibly blessed to have connected with truly amazing and empowering women through blogging. I have made some amazing friends that live near and far but none dearer than these best CLT babes. We’ve now been friends for 2 1/2 years now and I can’t imagine doing life or blogging without them. They love brunching and a good glass of rosé as much as I do so it was a natural fit for this to be our first big planned event. They are making the internet and the world a more beautiful place and you can read all about them by visiting their blogs linked below.

I have always believed that a great table is necessary for any gathering. If you don’t know how deep my love runs, catch up on this post here. It is the focal point and really sets the mood of the event. It can also provide a major wow factor if done correctly. This is an area I never skimp on and believe you shouldn’t either which is why we spent a lot of our time making this set up just perfect. Start with your theme or occasion and work your way out from there. While Spring was our main theme for the celebration, we threw in some bunnies and eggs as a nod to the upcoming Easter holiday and made sure to keep our color palette soft and colorful.

Centerpieces & Decor

There are so many great ways to create statement centerpieces for your table. With the theme of our brunch being Spring and Easter, we went for the obvious choice of fresh flowers from Le Petit Bloom, a local CLT florist. Can you say gorgeous? I have had my fair share of fresh flowers and centerpieces but these were beyond gorgeous and really brought our table to life and matched the runner perfectly. The medley of bright Spring colors and abundance of pink hues was so beautiful I could hardly take my eyes off them. Does anyone else just really love fresh flowers? I would have them all over my house year round if I could and definitely at the center of our table for every meal.

In addition to our main table, we had a narrow buffet table for wine and dessert. Because the table was so much shorter and more narrow, we opted for Nearly Natural bouquets that tied in with the main table. Remember how I said I wanted flowers on the table all the time? Nearly Natural can make it happen. Their bouquets look so real, you have to feel them to know they aren’t real. The blooms were equally gorgeous and gave the buffet table the perfect pop of color and elegance.

Place Settings

Because the blooms brought so much color to our table, we opted for simple white and gold place settings. Place settings can really hike up the cost of your tablescape if you aren’t careful. We didn’t want to break the bank and all appreciate budget-friendly options so we raided our own collections of serve ware. Laura had the plates, I had the gold flatware and Morgan and Heather brought serving dishes. We filled in missing pieces with purchased items like these under $20 whitewashed chargers & napkin rings. They were just what we needed to make each place setting look polished and complete while neutralizing a table full of color.

SPRING BRUNCH FOOD & DRINK

Rosé

For me, rosé is completely synonymous with Spring and a must have for any Spring brunch. As I mentioned before, all four of us really love a good glass (or bottle) of rosé so we knew we had to have it here. It also matched our table perfectly so it was really a no brainer. Another no-brainer was choosing Risatta Sparkling Rosé. I tried it for the first time at our brunch and it was delish! It has quickly become one of my favorite rosés because of its crisp and refreshing yet light flavor. It was the perfect wine for our brunch and would be for any other event or just sipping outside enjoying the weather. In addition to great flavor, the Risatta Rosé comes in a beautiful bottle and is almost too pretty to open. If you’re planning a brunch or event, I recommend getting a few extra bottles to use as decoration and fill for your table or buffet table as we did shown above.

Easter Brunch with Callie's Biscuits

The Spread

Once the table is set and all the details have been covered, it’s time to get to the heart of the gathering: the food!! We are a group of ladies that love good food. The menu had to be full of brunch staples that were delicious and photographed well. Would we even be bloggers if we didn’t have our food look and taste good or occasionally match the colors in our outfits? We started off with a direct shipment of Callie’s Charleston Biscuits. It was the touch of Southern flair we needed and they provided all the staples: biscuits, grits, and pimento cheese, yum! Similarly to the decor and place settings, we wanted to be resourceful and put our own spin on the brunch, so we each dipped in our own recipe books to add something homemade to the table. We had an incredible spread and ended our shoot with a feast and so many good laughs.

The full spread included:

Callie’s Charleston Biscuits Buttermilk, Country Ham, and Blueberry Biscuits, Pimento Cheese & Grits

Craft Cakes CLT Marble Cake

Avocado Toast with Egg  – I made this and will be sharing the easy recipe soon

Pancakes with sprinkles and powdered sugar topped with warm maple syrup – Laura really outdid herself here. I never would have thought to put sprinkles on pancakes.

Yogurt parfaits with granola and berries – Heather put together the cutest and tastiest combo
