I’ve had so much fun putting together these guides and shopping my favorite retailers for the best stuff to wear, decorate your home and now to entertain your guests. You didn’t think I would let a major holiday go by and not do a post about entertaining did you?! The final guide is all about Fourth of July entertaining essentials and let me tell you there are some great items to use for your festive gathering this year.

When it comes to holiday entertaining, I tend to gravitate more toward festive colors vs themed prints and patterns.

By taking this approach, I build a collection of entertaining essentials that is more versatile and can be used throughout the year. It also helps make the table or event feel less kitsch. If pattern or theme does make its way onto the scene, I like to bring it in with festive napkins or napkin rings. Table linens are often an inexpensive way to bring your theme to life and bring added luxury to the table. Pottery barn and Etsy have great selections of Americana & Fourth of July entertaining essentials to shop from. I purchased these napkins for my tablescape (coming next week!) but really love this combo of stars and stripes.
