Happy Tuesday babes! I feel like I am just getting a handle on life this week. With day light savings and Charleston Fashion Week, the past two weeks have been a whirlwind. The weather this past weekend was just divine so I took full advantage and pulled out all my Spring favorites, including these tie waist culottes. I picked up this pair of culottes a few years ago but love that they are still relevant and fresh for spring. They are light weight and so fab but still cover the legs on those days it’s not quite warm enough to expose them. Or, If you’re like me, you want to keep them covered until they have a little more color back in em.
Another thing I love about these culottes is their versatility. They are great to wear to the office or around downtown Charleston for some shopping like I did. Style tip: try swapping the sneaker espadrilles for a heeled sandal or pump to make your legs look super model long. I love black and wear plenty of it in the warmer months ( love this dress & these shorts), but navy is basically my “summer black”. It is still a neutral but offers a softer look than the definition and harshness of black. Like black, you really cannot go wrong with a classic navy anything. I opted to pair it with my favorite pink, but you could easily throw in a palette of brights, neutrals or more blues.
Since I have the worst case of Spring fever, I brightened the look up with nautical touches in the rope necklace and espadrilles and other pops of white and topped it off with my fave jean jacket. I love how it fits a little more loose than my other jackets. The slouchy fit keeps the look casual and not as preppy. Y’all know I am a sucker for easy outfits and this look is just about as easy as it gets.
Does anyone else have Spring fever? Take your mind off another impending snow storm and let me know what you’re excited about in the comments!
XOXO

I couldn’t agree more!!! I am just itching to ditch my sweaters. I’m trying to be patient but each cold day is so frustrating. Fingers crossed for this week.
