The color of the moment craze is timely given the swift arrival of the holiday season. Red is rarely my go-to color. Instead, I find myself always falling short in my wardrobe and only reaching for those few pieces when a child’s school function or a holiday season arises. What I love about fashion and color trends is that each new iteration surprises a gal and often leaves one rethinking things she may otherwise ignore. The fashion industry’s keen focus on the rich spectrum of red will, no doubt, leave others inspired by the emergence of fresh takes available this season. 

Some of my personal favorite red pieces include this pearl embellished bomber jacket that I recently purchased and this satin party skirt that also comes in a gorgeous neon version. Since I attended the Southern C Summit back in February, I’ve been loving everything Dillards has to offer and these ombre pumps + these fun party sandals are at the top of my wishlist. I also really love this party skirt from their recent Antonio Melani drop. 

On the accessories front: I am obsessed with this XL velvet hair bow. It is classic Christmas and anything but ordinary. I truly love it when traditional and maximalist styles can come together for something special. I’m always sporting an arm full of bracelets and these dainty enamel chain bracelets with the pave clasp are easy to layer or wear alone for a more understated look.
