The Christmas season always puts me in such a festive mood. With a variety of events and gatherings to go to, I put together three ways to wear this festive star tulle skirt.
Look One: Work
Anthropologie sequin star tulle skirt | Jcrew turtleneck | Halogen tweed jacket | Marc Fisher booties | Target box bag |YSL heart sunglasses
My first look with this star tulle skirt is possibly my fave! It felt so Chanel and sophisticated I wanted to wear it around all day. I am wearing it to Christmas party for the Know Tribe and Scoop Charlotte later this month because it’s a winner! As much as I love going all out and being totally extra, I love finding ways to wear those “extra” pieces day-in and day-out which is why I chose this fab tweed blazer and white booties for a work or party approved look. I kept it simple everywhere else with a sleek box bag, some fun heart sunglasses, and a tinted lip.
Look Two: Casual Play
Anthropologie sequin star tulle skirt |Puff sleeve sweatshirt | GGDB sneakers | YSL heart sunglasses | Brahmin clutch c/o
Oh how I love sneaks + skirts! This combo is definitely my go-to and a long-time favorite. I love the feminine details on this puff-sleeve sweatshirt and how it adds a super cool touch to the ultra girly tulle skirt. I’m a believer you can wear daytime sparkle and tulle if you balance it out the right way. Cue the cool sneaks. A while back I invested in my first pair of Golden Goose sneaks and I can honestly say it was 100% worth it. If you’re on the fence, I say do it! They are the most comfortable sneaks and I have been pleasantly surprised with how much I have been able to wear them.
BUYING TIP:
Choose a neutral, like white, that will go with lots of things vs a bold color. It’s a great way to ensure you get lots of wear out of them and justify the spend. If you get a second pair, go bold!
Look Three: Party
Anthropologie sequin star tulle skirt | Topshop star blouse | Jewel metallic sandals | Brahmin clutch c/o | Baublebar heart drop earrings | YSL heart sunglasses
There’s a bit of star overload here and I totally love it! I couldn’t resist a chance to pile on the extra with this last look. The colors and scale of the star prints work so well together it’s like they were made for each other so I totally went for it. For this party look, I threw on some glam sparkly accessories to really make the sequin star tulle skirt look super festive while keeping it classy.
